Ok, how am I the last to have taken advantage of the crazy clearance prices on paper crafting at Hobby Lobby?! I had seen so many posts on IG with INSANE deals, but never thought to go check out my local store.
Well, I did think about it, but I can so easily spend gobs of money on paper crafting supplies so I was trying to sort of reel it back in during February. But, March 1st hit and I had to head to Hobby Lobby, or as I call it, Hobbs Lobbs (I know, I’m super nerdy) to check these deals out for myself. Gals, those yellow stickers make my heart soar!
Though things had been really picked over by this time, there were still some great deals to be had. Let me show you what I got…
These cute little die cut pieces (wood alphas and numbers and acrylic arrows) were marked down to $1.75, $1 and $0.75 each! Though they are a bit thick for bible journaling, I can’t wait to use these in my memory keeping projects.
I like big… stacks of patterned paper and I cannot lie. These $20 bricks of CUTE patterned paper were marked down to just 5 bucks each!
I have this very weird sort of obsession with ampersand signs so when I saw this punch, it was like a scene from Finding Nemo… “Mine! Mine! Mine!” And right next to it was this cool gold, very heavyweight 6-hole punch. I love gold. I love hole punches. This will be so cute to make mini books with.
And lastly, girls… the stamp aisle. I really had to control myself. I love wood stamps but I really hate how bulky they are to store so I’ve started to convert all of mine to mount on acrylic blocks (this process has been insanely tedious!) and only buy photopolymer or stamps that can be mounted to acrylic blocks, and stored in sleeves. So I limited myself to this cool numeric click together set (I already have the alphas) which were only $2 and will work great for referencing scriptures and for sermon notes/points. Then, that alpha pack! $5, I could not resist. And… the CUTEST Heidi Swapp date stamp, probably ever. The months are in sweet cursive text! I will have to show it off soon. It’s the CUTEST. And it was actually marked down 40% off the $4.99 price tag.
All in all, it was a super successful trip. I had a blast browsing and dreaming and ended up walking out of there looking like a greedy little squirrel with arms packed full of supplies while spending only around $40.
